Michael Rodriguez
My first love is shooting Cosplay (the art of costume-making – primarily from anime, comics and video games), which I was introduced to at Comic-Con International and later at Anime Expo. Cosplay photography, for me, is colorful costumes, dynamic angles and people truly bringing their characters to life, both with their expressions and their bare hands!
You can find me shooting regularly at anime and comic conventions in and around Southern California. I also shoot weddings, portraits, events, product and cosplay.
I’m currently shooting for Josh Kline Productions, Ultimate Exposures and dedicating my free time starting up a new geek news portal, Speak Geeky To Me.

Heya,
It’s Kate – we met last weekend at Balboa Park, I was dressed up in blue with that crayon yellow wig
Thanks for giving me your card. I’ll be interested to see the photos when you put them up – thanks for taking them! It’s too bad the cherry blossoms were so hard to find. If you’re going to any of the cons or cosplay events around SoCal this summer, hopefully I’ll see you there!
Congratulations on the trailer posted on the front page – it looks great. As a coincidence, I used to work with all the GT guys before they were bought by MTV. I think I’m actually in a couple of the old gameplay videos.
your photos are amazing, i just wanted to say that haha carry on and never give up, you have talent
